Zubacx Uganda, an IT company specializing in both hardware and software, has shared its experience with the Electronic Fiscal Receipting and Invoicing Solution (EFRIS) system. Gatea Bosco, who runs Zubacx Uganda, explained that he has been using the EFRIS system for four years and it has been helpful in streamlining their books and providing a clear visibility on their position with the authorities.
Bosco describes the experience as 50/50, acknowledging that at times the system is down and they have to wait for passwords to generate invoices. However, he rates the system at 80% effectiveness and believes that with new improvements and better communication, it will help them work even better in their business. The process for Zubacx involves entering information into the portal to generate an invoice. Bosco praises the system for giving clear visibility of their financial position with the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA).
